What Makes PCMS Special

Step onto our campus and you'll notice it right away: this is a calm, happy place to learn. We're a Title I school with an incredibly diverse student body, and that diversity is one of our greatest strengths — our students learn alongside classmates from every kind of background, and that makes our community richer for it.  We have robust programming in Fine Arts, STEM, Athletics, Gifted & Talented, Special Education, and more.  We are the Proud Pumas of Park Crest!

A Sense of Belonging

Every one of our 700+ students belongs to one of four Puma-inspired "dens": Painter, Catamount, Mountain Screamer, and Shadow Cat. Students meet in their dens for advisory, social-emotional learning, and to earn points together, building friendships across grade levels. It's one of the simple reasons our hallways feel warm instead of overwhelming.

Student-Led Clubs

We believe good ideas can come from anyone — including our students. If two kids have a club idea and can find a staff member willing to sponsor it, they can start it. That spirit has led to everything from Dungeons & Dragons to Chess Club, each one born of a student's passion and staff's commitment to going above and beyond.

Excellence Across the Board

Calm doesn't mean quiet ambition. Our students compete — and compete well — in athletics, fine arts, UIL academics, and more. We're proud of the work ethic and school spirit that shows up on the field, on the stage, and in the classroom.

Real-World Learning

Park Crest was chosen by Pflugerville ISD's Career and Technical Education department for a special partnership bringing hands-on career exposure directly into our classrooms — giving students a head start on discovering what they might want to do someday.
